ROGUE 6L Sling V2

I have the 3L sling that's several years old now. I wear that thing all the time. It's my most used and favorite bag I own. I love the weather resistant materials and zippers, the padded strap, and the extra under-arm strap for three-point contact if I'm being active or in a place where I don't want my bag snatched. This new version of their slings is even better, specifically because they got rid of the velcro strap minders and replaced them with elastic. I snagged a few of my shirts with the previous version but this one doesn't have that problem.

I also like that the 6L can hold a laptop, ereader or tablet. As a non-photographer, I find this bag contains a bit more tiny organizational pockets than I need, but the main compartments are padded so I don't worry about any of my items being damaged. There are also movable/removable dividers in the main compartment.

All in all, I rave about Wandrd's sling bags to anyone who will listen. Can't wait to wear this one for years to come.

As I get more into wedding and event photography I've been focusing on my outfit, which is shifting to an all black or dark colors outfit—for which this bag is a perfect complement to the ensemble. It's both upscale with the gloss and understated so it doesn't stand out. I can carry a prime lens for low light, a Profoto 10 with a stand alone trigger, soft bounce and a small Sony mic or DJI Mic2 setup.

I also use this bag on occasion when shooting landscapes and wildlife as it makes swapping bigger lenses out. I use a Sony 100-400 GM zoom with a teleconverter, a Sigma 70-200 2.8 Sport, and a air-rocket for keeping dust out.

This thing is a mean, patent-leather-looking bad boy, but it’s also able to carry my insane collection of EDC items and keep everything organized, the total anti-dad sling I was looking for. It hits the sweet spot size-wise, true Goldilocks proportions for my needs. The workmanship has blown me away, as has the obvious thought put into absolutely every aspect of its design and construction. I’m genuinely loving picking it up each morning.
