Starting the new year with a new bag feels like the right move—and this one truly stands out. The color is exceptional; both the exterior and interior share a well-thought-out palette that not only looks great but also enhances usability. The brighter interior makes it significantly easier to locate items inside, which is a subtle but highly practical improvement.
One of the most impressive upgrades is the roll-top access system. This is a genuine game changer. Unlike previous versions, there’s no need to unroll the top each time—access is now quick and seamless with just a single zipper. Even compared to the “fast access” feature on my V3, this feels much more efficient and user-friendly.
Another notable change is the strap positioning. While it may be a controversial design choice, in my experience so far, it has not been a drawback. In fact, it improves comfort—the bag feels lighter and conforms more naturally to the body, providing a better overall carrying experience.
The only downside I’ve noticed is the reduced height of the roll-top, which slightly limits expandability. However, as I haven’t needed the extra space yet, this hasn’t impacted my usage so far.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with this upgrade. It’s a well-designed, thoughtful improvement over previous versions.
