I wish the single padded strap came as standard instead of backpack style straps though

I've used this a couple of times so far, and love the comfort, materials and features. The bag itself sits well on my back (straps are well positioned) and is easy to carry over one or both shoulders. The materials seem very high quality and should stand up to a lot of potential abuse with large zippers. I also appreciate that while there is one large compartment, the end cap pocket can be used to stash stuff that might get lost or accidentally fall out of the main compartment. The 'dirty laundry' end is also clever, as I'm always grabbing a trash bag to stash my dirty clothes on a longer trip. I also appreciate the grab handles on all four sides - makes loading a bunch of gear much easier.

Perfect size for weekends away, which I do frequently. The backpack straps are great but it's very helpful for them to be removable. The storage pockets are just enough for smaller items.
