New version seems lacking

Wasn’t really planning to get the All-New D1 Fanny Pack as i already own the very 1st version (2021). Only problem was the outer skin of my old fanny pack started peeling off due to wear & tear which i doubt is covered by the Life-Time warranty.

Still a quality pack compared to the 1st version below are the reasons why only 2-stars

1. The strap of the old version is thicker in width and at the same time smoother and soft to touch compared to the new version. New version is using in my opinion cheaper strap which felt rough on the skin.

2. Thinner strap means thinner buckle making it slightly difficult to unclasp compared to old version.

3. Missing pull tabs at the end of the zipper. Maybe its just a me problem.

All in all my user experience with the 1st version was phenomenal; used it as my edc so will see how this new version performs .

Love the material. Not a fan of the magnet buckle

I love the quality of material that Wandrd makes their bags out of. I was planning on use this as a daily bag while traveling. For my safety I think it's best for use in countries where risk theft/robberies is not high. I thought the buckle would be slightly more difficult to disengage. Thieves can easily put a hand underneath the bag lifting it and swipe down on the strap, then run off with the bag.
