I love Wandrd's products, and I obviously paid for the Order Protection, hence this review.
I appreciate that Wandrd seems to recognize that things can go wrong in transit that are entirely out of the customer's control. (Unlike a certain big-box retailer that thought it was a good idea to ship a PS5 to my door in a box that announced it contained a PS5 and did not require a signature on delivery. Luckily the delivery driver had enough sense to knock on my door anyways.)
That said, I knocked off one star because I should not have to play Russian Roulette with whether or not to pay the extra $1 for insurance on a $150+ purchase. "Worry Less" would be just baking it into the price of the bag and including the insurance by default. Instead, by leaving it up to the customer, it feels like Wandrd is trying to leave customers to assume the risk for delivery issues. I'm buying an expensive bag with a lifetime warranty because I want peace of mind, not because I want to do a cost-benefit analysis at checkout on whether it makes sense to pay an extra $1 for order protection.
Great products, and great that order protection is offered. Just don't like that it's an add-on instead of an invisible default.
