I owned and loved the original version of the bag. Most comfortable camera bag that I have ever owned. I had two issues (rarely came to play) with the original bag.had straps attached to the back panel and sometimes that caused the panel to sag while wearing the bag loose which caused gear to leave their allocated spot. That has been fixed in this bag. The other was the back panel zipper was at the top of the bag (as the panel went around the straps as previously mentioned). On snowy Calgary days snow would accumulate against that zipper and eventually water would leak into the bag. New bag design fixed both of those issues while minting the comfort I loved. The larger side pocket is a nice bonus for quick camera retrieval.
