I've used the OG PRVKE for a long time and really liked the roll-top design. However, it was a bit too bulky to be my everyday carry — this new version is perfect for that. It no longer has back access, but losing that feature shaved about 3 cm off the pack’s depth, making it much slimmer.
Some reviews mention that without the back access, the bag feels like a “bottomless pit” when you open the roll-top. That might be true for some colors, but I got the Yuma Tan version, and since the interior color matches the exterior, the inside is nice and bright — it’s easy to see everything.
I also saw reviews saying it doesn’t fit a 14" MacBook Pro, which isn’t true. Mine fits with plenty of room to spare, even with a soft case around it.
My only complaint is that when I open the roll-top and reach inside, my hand often slips into the tablet compartment because it sticks out a bit. It’s a minor annoyance, but worth noting. I believe the 21 L and 31 L versions have a Velcro strap there, which might help with that.
