I had the previous version of the PRVKE backpack, and I can confidently say that the improvements made to this new version are worth the upgrade. The zipers are much better. Before, it was hard for me to open and close. It feels much more comfortable.
I debated the larger pack due to it getting too heavy however this pack is awesome. I carry all of my equipment, fuji x100v , flash, gimbal, tripod , chargers etc. also have room for laptop, ipad and a jacket and small backpack from wandrd that folds up. I travel with this unit and breakdown as needed. Well engineered and practical. Love the compartmentalization and easy access . Its a BEAST!!!

First off I should say that I don't use my backpack for camera gear, as I'm not a photographer. I just use it for EDC and travel.
I've been slumming with smaller, cheaper backpacks for many years, not really knowing what I was missing. But when my last one broke I wanted something a little bigger, and something the looked really good, and the PRVKE hit both of those for me. I did like the contrasting roll top on the v3, but over all I think the v4 looks amazing! I've added white accessory straps and zipper pulls, and it's just beautiful. And the capacity is amazing! I think I could easily pack for a two week trip in this bag, and in my daily life when I frequently bring two laptops and two ipads (don't ask), it stays comfortable even when it's pretty heavy.
I hope it lasts many years, because it feels like the perfect backpack for me!
