Stops zipper rattle and ensures greater zip-closure security.

Zippers do unzip inadvertently. It is nice to have tabs that can prevent this and also make it a little more awkward for pickpockets to unzip a compartment when you are preoccupied looking elsewhere. Easy to use and QUIET so no zipper rattle!!!
