I did weeks of research before choosing a backpack, and I landed on the PRVKE 21L in Rhone Burgundy. It cost more than many of the options I considered, but it’s genuinely well thought out and worth it.
First things first: the Burgundy color is incredible on this bag. It looks elegant enough that I happily use it for the office and it never feels out of place there.
I’ve only used it on a few occasions so far, so I’ll get a fuller sense of it over time, but my first impression is very positive. It’s extremely comfortable to carry and never feels tiring. On one photo shoot I had to bring two tripods, and even weighed down like that it stayed comfortable.
What I love most is the organization. There are lots of well-placed compartments, so it’s easy to remember what I put where. The hidden passport pocket on the back is brilliant, and the dedicated key pocket is a lovely touch. Everything is thoughtfully laid out.
I haven’t yet tested it in more extreme travel or weather conditions, but so far it has genuinely surprised me. It’s clearly designed not just for photographers and videographers, but also for anyone using it for the office or for travel.
