Been carrying around a similar two wheeled carry-on from sitka for a number of years. This bag fixes a bunch of issues of that old bag and is even more durable (the bomb proof statement applies to this bag.) So glad to have it! Great stand alone for overnighters. Can even make it a week with it in warm climates. Keep up the great work!

Best carry-on roller I ever had.
I travel very frequently and tried many premium carry-ons. This is the best. Great capacity - same as the soft-cell WNDRD carry-ons, amazing zippers and very good material. More than enough inside pockets thak keep your small stuff organized. The only drawback - if you can call it that - is when you put a heavy carry on on top of it and you need to drag across the airport. Since the combination is heavy and the roller is a 2-wheeler, I have the tendency to drag it upright, with the lower plastic guard touching the floor. It works quite well but then it will need replacement and I am not sure that WANDRd offersa replacement guard. I can;t recommend it more!
Finally Found My Dream Travel Camera Setup
I’ve been eyeing WANDRD bags for a while but never had the chance to see them in person. That changed when I got to check them out at Imagine and… yeah, I was hooked almost immediately.
I ended up picking up the TRANSIT Carry-On Roller, and now I’m fully in the ecosystem. I also use the PRVKE 31L, X1 Crossbody, the Essential Camera Cube, and the Pro Camera Cube, and the thing I love most is how everything works together. The modular system makes traveling with camera gear way less stressful.
When I’m flying or moving through airports, I’d much rather roll a 30+ lb bag than carry it on my back. The TRANSIT roller handles that perfectly. Once I get to my destination, I can swap what I need into the PRVKE and head out with a lighter setup. That flexibility has been huge for my workflow.
The capacity is also perfect for my kit. I can comfortably carry a Nikon Z8, Z7II, 14-24mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm, and even toss in an AD200. Everything stays organized and protected, which matters a lot when you’re traveling with gear that expensive.
I’ve even used the roller as a regular carry-on when I’m not bringing camera gear, which makes it way more versatile than a typical camera bag.
And for the most important test… my Great Dane 3 month old pup climbed right into the roller during a shoot and seemed perfectly happy to hang out there. That’s a pretty solid endorsement.
Between the build quality, the modular system, and the lifetime warranty, this setup has easily become my favorite way…
